Your call is in ten minutes. Where is everything?
— By Christopher Lynch
What did we promise? Who needs a reply? Where is the link? A personal AI assistant should help with the everyday questions that keep taking your attention.
You remember the meeting. You remember the person. You don’t quite remember what you promised to bring.
The answer is probably in an email. The latest document may be in another thread. Someone asked a question last week that you meant to check before this call.
Now the call is in ten minutes, and you’re searching instead of preparing.
That is a useful place to start with a personal AI assistant. Before your call, the latest emails, questions and links are ready in one short brief. You can focus on the person you’re meeting.
At Intuitive Context, we help set up that kind of everyday assistance around the tools you use and the boundaries you choose.
“What did we promise?”
A helpful call brief should make the conversation easier.
It might show the last agreed next step, what has changed since then, the question you need answered and the document you will want open.
If a promise cannot be confirmed from the connected messages, the assistant should say that. An honest gap is more useful than an invented answer.
You can begin the call with the story in front of you, rather than asking someone to wait while you search.
“Who’s waiting for me?”
Sometimes the difficult part of replying is remembering that a reply is needed at all.
An assistant can help identify open questions in the conversations it can read, bring the important ones into your brief and prepare a response for review. Whether it may send that response depends on the permissions you have chosen and the requirements of the service.
You still decide what you want to say. You have less of the remembering and finding to do first.
“Is this invoice real?”
A message arrives with a worrying subject line and an attachment. You don’t recognize it immediately.
A useful assistant can inspect the message and available context without running its code or following its links. It can explain suspicious signs, look for a relevant conversation and tell you what it could not verify.
It should not claim a charge happened without evidence, or declare a message malicious simply because it looks unfamiliar. Sometimes the right answer is that you need to check with the known sender through a trusted route.
The help is a clearer next step. It is not a guarantee that every threat will be caught.
“Did they finish, or did they just send an update?”
You asked for something to happen. A few hours later, you see a reassuring progress message.
That may still leave the important question unanswered.
An assistant should distinguish what the available evidence actually shows. A document has been prepared. An email has been sent. A recipient has replied. A result has been checked. Those are different things.
When it can make that distinction clear, you know whether you can move on or whether someone still needs to act.
“Where is that link?”
Not every useful task needs to be impressive.
Finding the right meeting link or document before you need it can be enough. Put it beside the relevant question and next step, and you can get on with the work.
These situations are examples of assistance to configure and test. What is possible depends on your tools, their supported connections and your permissions.
Start with the thing you keep chasing
You do not have to connect everything or delegate every decision.
Choose a few familiar tasks. Decide what the assistant may read and do, and what should come back to you. Try a short brief. Check the results.
Count all the effort you still spend doing the task, including reviewing, correcting and following up. Include setup time when judging the overall value. Are you searching less? Better prepared? Spending less time chasing the same update?
If the answer is no, change the setup. A longer answer from an assistant is not necessarily more help.
Intuitive Context helps with that practical work: choosing useful tasks, checking supported tools, setting boundaries and making the brief fit your day. The scope and any continuing support are agreed separately.
