llms.txt is a signpost. Schema is the map. Neither replaces clarity.

Framer can host AI-readable files and structured data, but the files only help if they point to clear source pages and claims your business can defend.

Start with the source pages

Before adding technical files, make sure the site itself has clear source pages. A vague homepage with llms.txt is still vague. The file should point AI systems toward pages that explain the company, services, proof, people, pricing, comparisons, and FAQs.

Add llms.txt

Use llms.txt as a curated index for AI agents and search systems. Keep it short, structured, and useful. Link to the canonical pages you actually want interpreted as source material.

Add JSON-LD schema that matches the page

Schema should reinforce visible content. Do not emit a type just because it sounds impressive. Use Organization, WebSite, Service, Product, FAQPage, Article, BreadcrumbList, Person, or LocalBusiness only where the visible page supports it.
